On June 11, 2021, shortly before 3:00 pm, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a home in the 900 block of High Street in reference to a possible shooting.

On June 11, 2021 shortly before 3:00 pm the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a home in the 900 Block of High Street in reference to a possible shooting, and were advised that the shooting may have been accidental.
Upon Officers arrival on scene they located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, and began rendering medical attention to the victim before Paramedics arrived on scene.
Paramedics arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital in Critical Condition and after arriving at the hospital his condition was downgraded to Life- Threatening by Emergency Room Physicians.
All Individuals inside the residence were transported to the Police Headquarters to speak with Detectives regarding this incident
Crime Scene Technicians were called to the scene to process any evidence inside the residence
This incident is being investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
