Today, June 10, 2021, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a mobile home fire in the 3200 block of Sand Point Road at 10:54 am.
The first unit on the scene found smoke coming from the mobile home and the crew pulled a hand line for fire attack and searched for occupants. Other crews arrived and assisted with controlling the fire. The fire was under control in 14 minutes.
A search determined that nobody was inside.
The mobile home was vacant at the time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
