On June 7th, 2021 at approximately 9:56pm Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Ormsby Street in regards to a stabbing. The Complainant Party called Dispatch and advised that He had been stabbed in the back and that his girlfriend’s son did it. Officers located the Caller who was suffering from a stab wound. TRAA rendered aid to the adult male Caller and transported him to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. While at the hospital he was downgraded to life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the Caller who was stabbed got in a physical domestic altercation with his girlfriend. During the course of the physical altercation he was stabbed by his girlfriend’s son, who is a juvenile. Detectives are currently interviewing all parties involved while Crime Scene is gathering evidence. This is an ongoing investigation that is being investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.
