Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 21, 20210 – On May 21, 2021, at 1:10 pm, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a passenger vehicle accident that resulted in structural and fire damage to a residence in the 5700 block of Port Royal.
The vehicle crashed into the attached garage of the house and started a fire. The driver of the vehicle was rescued by Firefighters. The fire was extinguished and the house searched for victims. There were no other occupants present at the time of this incident. The Three Rivers Ambulance Authority transported the driver of the vehicle to a local hospital.
The Fort Wayne Fire Department was assisted by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, City of Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement, and Indiana Michigan Power.
