Tonight’s Fort Wayne, Indiana weather story from the National Weather Service:
Cool, but dry weekend in store
Frost risk greatest the next two nights
Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 16, 2021) – Overall a rather quiet but cool weekend is in store with highs remains a bit below normal in the 50s to possibly lower 60s by Sunday. Of greater concern, at least for those with ag or early gardens interests, will be the risk for frost through the weekend. The greatest threat will come tonight and Saturday night as lows dip into the lower to middle 30s. The amount of cloud cover and how fast winds drop off will determine just how widespread the frost may get in some areas. Make sure to cover any sensitive vegetation or use other means to reduce or eliminate the frost threat.
