House Fire, Pontiac Street
Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 13, 2021) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a possible structure fire in the 1900 block of Pontiac Street on March 13, 2021, at 10:09 pm.
When the first engine arrived on the scene, they found smoke coming from multiple locations. Crews entered the two-story medium size residential house and encountered fire and moderate smoke. A quick search by firefighters revealed that no one was at home.
The fire was extinguished quickly; however, efforts were hampered slightly by a large amount of stuff stacked in several rooms on the first floor.
There were no injuries. The fire is under investigation.
