Allen County Coroner’s news release announcing the 7th Allen County homicide for 2021.
Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 1, 2021) – The Allen County Coroner’s Office was contacted on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at about 0400 hours, and notified of the death of Kaivonni Lynn Vachon, female black, 17 months of age from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Kaivonni Lynn Vachon was taken to a local fire station for assistance. The decedent was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and admitted into the Emergency Room. Death was pronounced a short time after arrival.
An autopsy has been performed and the next of kin has been notified of the death.
The Cause of Death is Blunt Force Injuries of Abdomen and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Kaivonni Lynn Vachon is the 7th Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
This incident is being investigated by the New Haven Police Department, Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and Allen County Coroner’s Office.
