…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING…

* WHAT…Light snow will continue through the morning hours, gradually tapering off through early afternoon. Additional snow accumulations of around 1 inch or less are expected. Gusty north winds this morning will lead to continued blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE…Portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Significant impacts are expected for the Tuesday morning commute, and may extend into the early afternoon due to blowing and drifting snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Wind chills this morning will fall to as low as 10 below zero. Gusty north winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph will shift northwest at 10 to 15 mph this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
