Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 28, 2021) – A situation report from the National Weather Service regarding a possible winter storm this weekend.

The winter storm is still 2 and a half days away. The NWS has medium confidence in the storm track and specific amounts of snowfall we will see, however they have high confidence that we will receive snow. At this point, they believe the heaviest snowfall rates will be Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Snow is expected to fall from Saturday afternoon through late Sunday.
Forecast details will become clearer as the storm draws nearer to our area.
