House fire, Adams Street
FORT WAYNE INDIANA (January 3, 2021) – Today, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported house fire in the 3000 block of Adams Street at 3:46 pm.
The first crews to arrive on the scene reported that the fire was throughout the structure. Firefighters entered the structure to extinguish the fire and conduct a search for victims. All residents of the home had self-evacuated with no injuries reported. The fire was brought under control in approximately 45 minutes.
The house sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Firefighters were assisted by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, City of Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement, Indiana Michigan Power, and NIPSCO.
