On August 31, 2020, at 2220 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to the 4800 block of South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 2220 hours
On Scene: 2221 hours
Under Control: 2247 hours
Fire started on the exterior of the structure and extended into the second floor and roof area. Firefighters extinguished the fire and had it under control in 25 minutes. Extensive overhaul was needed to find all hidden fire.
One firefighter was injured and transported by the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority to a local hospital.
The house appeared to be vacant and being remodeled.
