On August 5, 2020, at 0831 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to the Hawthorne Suites Hotel parking lot at 4919 Lima Road regarding a report of a stabbing.

Details/Summary:
On August 5th, 2020 at approximately 8:31 am officers were dispatched to the Hawthorne Suites Hotel parking lot at 4919 Lima Road for the report of a stabbing. Officers and fire department personnel arrived on scene and located an adult male, suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
At this time Fort Wayne Police Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Units are canvassing the area and speaking with potential witnesses. A person of interest is being interviewed at this time.
