On July 4, 2020, at 0012 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 7500 block of Gathings Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0012 hours
On Scene: 0014 hours
Under Control: 0046 hours
FWFD Engine 12 was first on the scene with fire showing from the side and rear of a two-story structure. All occupants were out. An offensive attack on fire was done as well as a search of structure. There was some extension of the fire into the attic above the garage which crews located and put out. The fire was concentrated in the living room behind the garage.
The cause is still under investigation.
