On June 30, 2020, at 2146 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 3200 block of Barr Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 2159 hours
The first firefighters on the scene observed a fire on the back deck of the house with fire extending into the interior and attic. Firefighters were hampered by a downed power line in the area of the fire. Firefighters conducted a search of the house and found that all occupants had self-evacuated with their pets. The fire was brought under control in approximately 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
