On June 8, 2020, at 1807 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire in the 2700 block of West Washington Center Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1807 hours
On Scene: 1811 hours
Under Control: 1823 hours
The first firefighters on the scene verified that all occupants were out of the home. However, family pets were still inside. Crews made a quick attack on the fire and searched the entire structure rescuing one dog, three adult cats and four kittens. The fire extended into the roof structure and extensive overhaul was needed to extinguish all of the hidden fire.
The fire is currently under investigation.
