On May 1, 2020, at 0523 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 500 block of East Rudisill Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 0524 hours
Under Control: 0603 hours
Crews arrived and found heavy smoke coming from the attic. Crews made an aggressive interior attack while truck companies worked on removing the roof from the exterior. Fire was found in several walls on the second-floor. All visible fire was extinguished and work began looking for hidden fire. All fire was eventually extinguished.
No injuries were reported. All occupants self-evacuated.
Crews will be on scene for several hours overhauling.
