On April 24, 2020, at 2110 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Diplomat Apartments in the 3220 block of Diplomat Drive after hearing numerous shots fired in the area.
The Fort Wayne Police Department has arrested Bryshawn D. Terry Sr., five felony counts in the shooting of four people at the Diplomat Apartments in the 3220 block of Diplomat Drive.

Details/Summary:
An arrest has been made in the shooting at Diplomat Apartments late Friday evening. Bryshawn D Terry Sr was arrested on four counts of Aggravated Battery and one count of Criminal Recklessness in the shooting of four people. One of the victims is still hospitalized with life threatening injuries. Initial calls to police stated numerous shots had been fired at 3220 Diplomat address. When officers arrived they found the four victims.
Homicide Detectives worked diligently through the night making the arrest early Saturday morning, just hours after the shooting. Terry was located at a local hotel and taken into custody without incident. Terry is currently in Allen County Jail awaiting arraignment in court.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
