On February 28, 2020, at 1659 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1300 block of Summit Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 1702 hours
Under Control: 1725 hours
The first units arrived in 3 minutes and found turbulent black smoke showing from the first-floor of the home. An aggressive interior attack was made on the fire. The home was completely searched and the fire was contained to the first-floor of the home. The fire was under control in 23 minutes.
There were no occupants home at the time of the fire.
The fire remains under investigation.
