College Basketball Madness is Coming to Fort Wayne in March!

(January 2, 2020) – Today marks the start of ticket sales for the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship, to be held on March 20 & 21, 2020 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Tickets start at $45 for adults; $35 for students/seniors/military. Tickets include all 7 games Friday and Saturday.

Visit Fort Wayne, Manchester University, and the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum – the local hosts of the regional Division III Men’s Basketball games – are building off a successful 2019 event where Fort Wayne’s great venue, hospitality, and community showcased why Fort Wayne is the perfect home for DIII Men’s Basketball Tournament games. This two-day event is the second of four NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament events scheduled to be held in Fort Wayne by 2022.

“This is a unique year for the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball National Championship and we are excited that the city of Fort Wayne will play an important role. The NCAA quarterfinal and semifinal games will be played at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, along with the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III College All-Star Game, on March 20 and 21,” said Sam Atkinson, chair of the NCAA Division III men’s basketball national committee and Associate Athletic Director for Communications at Gallaudet University. “The 2019-20 NCAA Division III men’s basketball season tips off in November and come mid-March eight teams will be heading to Fort Wayne. We hope you will be there to witness it.”

The March to Fort Wayne starts now! In less than 80 days, Fort Wayne will be a part of NCAA Championship history again.

The annual economic impact is estimated at $630,000 for each year of the championship.
