On October 22, 2019, at 1658 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 5600 block of Old Dover Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1658 hours
On Scene: 1705 hours
Under Control: 1710 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found moderate smoking issuing from the front of the structure. Upon entering the apartment, a small fire was found in the kitchen. Firefighters extinguished the fire in approximately five minutes.
The occupants were home at the time of the fire but were able to self evacuate.
No injuries were reported during the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire was an unattended cooking fire.
