One resident was reported in the home and needed assistance from family and neighbors to evacuate. Other arriving crews assisted in preventing the fire’s spread to two other garages and two nearby homes. The fire spread to neighboring buildings was held to just melted siding. Work around the structures was dangerous and limited due to a power line that had burned through and dropped to the ground. The fire was under control in 15 minutes.
