On August 27, 2019, at 2014 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire in the 5700 block of Heather View Lane, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 2031 hours
Firefighters arrived four minutes after being dispatched and observed the rear of the trailer was on fire. and was advised by bystanders that everyone was out already. Two crews advanced hose lines and kept the fire from spreading through the yard to neighboring trailers. The fire was under control thirteen minutes after arrival.
The occupants safely self-evacuated before the department’s arrival. One person was transported to an area hospital to be checked out.
