Hazardous heat ahead
Heat indices to exceed 100°
(July 15, 2019) – There is increasing confidence in dangerous heat impacting our area late this week. High temperatures are expected to be in the 90s, with a head index in excess of 100°. You can beat the heat by drinking plenty of water, taking frequent breaks in the shade if you must be outdoors, and by checking on those without air conditioning.
