On July 14, 2019, at 0609 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a duplex fire in the 1500 block of St. Marys Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0609 hours
On Scene: 0613 hours
Under Control: 0628 hours
Firefighters arrived and found a two-story duplex with smoke showing. The crew pulled a hand line for fire attack and started a search of the structure. It was confirmed that no one was left inside. Crews put out the fire which was in the downstairs bedroom. The fire was under control in 15 minutes.
One occupant had safely self-evacuated.
No injuries were reported.
