On July 12, 2019, at 0848 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 600 block of Meyer Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
FWFD Alarm Code: 704
Time of Alarm: 0848 hours
On Scene: 0851 hours
Under Control: 0901 hours
The first firefighters to arrive found moderate smoke coming from the two-story residential structure. The fire was under control within 10 minutes.
Two occupants and four dogs safely self-evacuated before the department’s arrival.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
