City of Fort Wayne offices to be closed on Fourth of July

The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on July 4, 2019, in recognition of the Fourth of July.

City offices to be closed on Fourth of July

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 28, 2025) – The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in recognition of the Fourth of July.

There will be no residential garbage and recycling collection on Thursday, July 4. Regular Thursday collection will be collected on Friday and regular Friday collection will occur on Saturday.

The City will resume regular business hours on Friday, July 5.
