On May 17, 2019, at 0931 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire, as reported by the homeowner, in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0931 hours
On Scene: 0934 hours
Under Control: 0951 hours
Firefighters arrived to find a fire on the exterior of the home that had extended inside the structure. It took crews 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.
The home owner was alerted by a smoke detector and the three adults and two children escaped without injuries.
This fire is under investigation.
