The City of Fort Wayne today participated in the Great American Cleanup.
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 4, 2019) – Here are some highlights from today’s efforts:
- Nearly 5,000 volunteers/250 groups participated
- More than 75 tons of debris collected
- 600 tires collected
- 165 televisions collected
- Tox-Away Day had 143 vehicles go through the line today to dispose of household hazardous waste materials in a safe manner. Tox-Away Day is a collaboration between Fort Wayne’s Solid Waste Department and the Allen County Department of Environmental Management.
