On March 13, 2019, at 0747 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1700 block of Alabama Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0747 hours
On Scene: 0750 hours
Under Control: 0806 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found the front porch area of the two-story residence with heavy fire showing. The fire was brought under control in 16 minutes.
One person self-evacuated safely. A cat was rescued from the home by firefighters.
No injuries were reported.

Smoke Damage: Heavy
