On February 17, 2019, at 0425 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1700 block of South Coliseum Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Multiple 9-1-1 callers reported a house fire near the corner of Reynolds Street and South Coliseum Boulevard. The first firefighters on the scene arrived three minutes later and found heavy fire issuing from the west half of the structure. Multiple lines were advanced and the home was searched. The structure proved to be vacant and crews extinguished fire throughout. There was heavy fire damage to the garage and nearby areas of the house. Twenty-three minutes after arrival, the fire was placed under control.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
