On February 7, 2019, at 1228 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 6600 block of Clovercrest Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1228 hours
On Scene: 1333 hours
Under Control: 1338 hours
On arrival, the lone occupant was already outside and advised he had been alerted by his smoke detector and found his stove was on fire. He tried to use a fire extinguisher on it, but had to evacuate with out putting the fire out. Crews quickly had the fire extinguished and confirmed it was contained to the kitchen. The fire was out ten minutes after units were dispatched.
