News release from the Bridge of Grace Compassionate Ministries Center:
Free Soccer Clinic in Southeast Fort Wayne
(August 1, 2018) — Bridge of Grace Compassionate Ministries Center, in partnership with Huntington University’s Men’s Soccer team, will hold a free soccer clinic on Tuesday, August 7th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The clinic, which will take place at 5100 Gaywood Drive in Fort Wayne, is open to all youth ages six to sixteen.
During the soccer clinic, students will learn basic skills such as dribbling, trapping, and striking as well as working on teamwork. Those who already have some exposure will work on improving their skills. The youth will also play a soccer match along with members of the Huntington University Men’s soccer team.
The free soccer clinic gives area youth the opportunity to learn more about the sport of soccer; however, it also provides an afternoon of mentoring, relationship building, and of course, entertainment in a safe environment while the Huntington University players work side by side with the youth.
