…Bill’s Palace, or The Palace, had its equipment and furnishings auctioned off.
The business had closed earlier after being purchased by the City to make way for the Harrison Square development. The property sat on the southwest corner of Lewis and Harris Streets, behind Belmont Beverage.
Lewis street between Ewing and Harrison streets were vacated for the new project. The new parking deck now occupies the land where The Palace once sat.
