TinCaps to Hold National Anthem Auditions
Try Out at Parkview Field on February 28th or March 4th(February 2, 2017) — With Opening Day at Parkview Field on Saturday, April 8 quickly approaching, the TinCaps are searching for musically gifted fans to perform the National Anthem before games during the 2017 season.
Singers, instrumentalists, and groups are invited to try out. Auditions will be held at Parkview Field on Tuesday, February 28 and Saturday, March 4. You must schedule a tryout time in advance by contacting Aron Brecht at brecht@tincaps.com or 260-407-2809.
Please keep in mind that not everyone who tries out will earn the opportunity to perform before a game. The TinCaps have 70 scheduled home dates for the season.
For those who are selected, National Anthem performers for TinCaps games receive four tickets to the game at which they perform.

Season tickets and tickets for group outings are currently on sale, while tickets for all games will go on sale beginning Wednesday, February 15 at TinCapsTickets.com and Parkview Field, or by calling 260-482-6400. Fans who buy their tickets at Parkview Field on that morning between 8-10 a.m. will be treated to a free breakfast.
The TinCaps recently released their 2017 Promotional Schedule for the upcoming season, featuring 31 fireworks shows, 10 dates with national entertainers, theme nights, and more.
The 2017 season will be the team’s ninth at award-winning Parkview Field and mark the 25th season of Minor League Baseball in Fort Wayne.
