Monitor the beach forecast at https://weather.gov/greatlakes/beachhazards.(August 8, 2016) – Lifeguards reported waves of 3-4 feet with rip currents and strong structural currents near the piers this morning. A high swim risk and beach hazards statement is in effect until late tonight for Berrien County, MI and La Porte County in Indiana.
