House Fire, Taber Street
(June 21, 2016) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported house fire at 117 East Taber Street this morning. Crews arrived within three minutes to find moderate smoke coming from the structure. FWFD located the fire in the kitchen area of the first floor and performed an aggressive interior attack. The fire was under control within four minutes.
The fire remains under investigation.
The FWFD received assistance from TRAA, FWPD, AEP, Animal Control, and Neighborhood Code.
