News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, Fletcher Avenue
FWFD units responded to a reported house fire in the 1400 block of Fletcher Avenue at 6:02 a.m. on May 22, 2016. Upon arrival, heavy fire was seen from the front of the single story home. Crews quickly searched the home and found that it was unoccupied. Fire spread throughout the attic before it was brought under control. The fire was placed under control 20 minutes after the first crew arrived. No one was injured while fighting the fire.
