SweetWater Sound Presents The Fort Wayne Music Festival at Headwaters Park May 12-14
(April 16, 2016) — The Fort Wayne Music Festival, powered by Sweetwater Sound is a 3-day community focused music festival taking place Thursday, May 12th, Friday May 13th and Saturday, May 14th downtown at Headwaters Park under the Lincoln pavilion.

The festival will feature:
- FRIDAY MAY 12th
90’s Night on Thursday with National headliners Eve 6 and Bubba Sparxxx along with regional tribute bands cranking out favorites from Nirvana, Sublime, Matchbox 20 and The Goo-Goo Dolls- SATURDAY MAY 13th
Electric Spring on Friday night featuring DJ EV, Kaya Wolff and Milk ‘n Cooks
- SUNDAY MAY 14th
- Country Jam on Saturday with Thompson Square, Chuck Wicks and Josh Thompson.
Food and spirits will be available for everyone to enjoy and VIP Tickets include premium front row seating, next to bathrooms, with swag bags and artist meet and greets.
Building on the success of last year’s Irish Fest and Electric Spring, which brought well over 7,000 people, Jamal Robinson and Jake Slater of Electric Promotions decided to expand the festival to three days, incorporate additional music genres, and partner with strong community partners.
One of those partners is the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne where 10% of all proceeds will be used to build a studio inside of the club. The ticket price for the festival will start at $10 for General Admission with limited VIP tickets also available for a premium.
Boys and Girls Club of Fort Wayne CEO Joe Jordan states, “Jamal Robinson and Jake Slater are doing amazing things to increase the quality of life for the citizens in our community. They are also assisting to enhance the lives of the 400 children we work with every day.”
