News release from Parkview Health:
c with grand opening, ribbon cutting
(April 13, 2016) – Parkview Warsaw leaders today joined community members to celebrate the grand opening of the medical complex with a ribbon cutting. Parkview Warsaw, an 86,000 square foot facility, is located adjacent from the Parkview Warsaw YMCA off Mariners Drive. The two-story, $20 million project, offers many services including an emergency department (ER), outpatient care and physician offices. It’s anticipated that more than 100 jobs will be created at the new facility.
Construction on the facility began in late 2014, and the medical complex will be fully-functioning when the ER opens at 7 a.m. on April 14. Outpatient services, including lab and imaging, opened February 24 and the physicians’ offices located on the campus began seeing patients in January.
“Parkview is committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve and Parkview Warsaw provides a unique and innovative campus designed to best meet the needs of the Warsaw and greater Kosciusko County community,” said Scott Gabriel, president, Parkview Warsaw. “Many hours of careful thought and evaluation went into the planning of this facility and it’s exciting to see this project near completion.”
Services offered at Parkview Warsaw include:
- 24/7 emergency room services
- Full-service ER including a helipad for medical transport
- Outpatient laboratory
- Diagnostic imaging
- X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds and more
- Outpatient rehabilitation services
- Family practice physician offices and services
- Specialty physicians and services
As a complement to the Parkview Warsaw medical complex, the Parkview Center for Healthy Living is located on the campus, inside the Parkview Warsaw YMCA. The Center for Healthy Living offers services focused on holistic health and wellness information to help individuals be proactive with their health decisions.
