News release from the Fort Wayne Housing Authority:

The Fort Wayne Housing Authority to Close its Public Housing Waiting List

(March 21, 2016) – The Fort Wayne Housing Authority will close its Public Housing Waiting List. This is being done to allow FWHA to increase the efficiency of their current processes and streamline their workflow in administering the Waiting List of over 7,200 applicants.

The waiting list will close on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 12:00PM. Applications that are received after that date and time will not be processed. Those individuals interested in applying prior to the waiting list closing, may do so by obtaining an application one of the following ways:

  • Visit the Fort Wayne Housing Authority’s Administrative Building located at 7315 Hanna Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46816 during normal business hours of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
  • Visit www.fwha.org
  • Call (260) 267-9300 x7311
