USF Hosting 6th Annual Student Research Exhibition

(March 15, 2016) — The University of Saint Francis School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is presenting the 6th Annual USF Research Exhibition, a showcase of student scholarship, on March 31. This event includes displays of student research, art, readings, and more throughout the USF Campus, 2701 Spring Street.

The evening begins at 4:45 p.m. in the Achatz Hall of Science with a plenary talk by USF student Emily Richardson, who will speak about researching dolphins in the Indian River Lagoon in Florida. After this lecture, breakout sessions will allow students to discuss their work with attendees. Finally, USF students will present their scholarship in poster form, which will be evaluated for the evening’s awards.

“This is always an exciting event for our students,” said Dr. Lance Richey, dean of the USF School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. “They have worked extremely hard on their research and we encourage students, faculty, staff, alumni and potential employers to join us to see the results of their efforts.”

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the USF School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at 260-399-7700.
