Asher helps develop ‘locally grown’ campaign for Subway® Restaurants

(February 4, 2016) – Asher Agency is excited to be working with SUBWAY® Restaurants on a marketing campaign that highlights locally sourced produce provided to restaurants across the country. Asher senior vice president Kara Kelley and account executive Bob Gietl developed the promotion, which will be launched at SUBWAY® Restaurants in Georgia. The “Georgia Grown” project will be promoted with media support, public relations events and in-store collateral.

“The millennial generation wants to know that their food choices are supporting the local economy,” said Kelley. “Serving fresh produce from local farms is an excellent way for SUBWAY® to meet consumer expectations and support local communities,” she said.

A video touting the benefits of serving locally sourced produce, and featuring Kelley, Gietl and Atlanta franchisee Nish Patel, was shown at a recent national SUBWAY® multi-unit owners meeting in New Orleans. The video can be viewed at
