Death Investigation

Location: 6000 Block Bunt Drive
Victim: Adult Male- Deceased
Details:
Fort Wayne police responded to a reported shooting in the 6000 block of Bunt Drive at approximately 6:15 p.m. this evening. Once on scene officers found an unresponsive adult male in the driver’s seat of a running passenger car which was parked directly in front of an apartment. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Investigators have preliminary information that indicates shots were heard in the area and a male black with dreadlock style hair was seen running from the area north on Bunt Drive. The Allen County Coroner’s office will conduct an autopsy Wednesday to determine a cause and manner of death.
