House Fire, 2220 block of Ludwig Road

(January 4, 2016) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 2220 block of West Ludwig Road. Occupant stated that he smelled smoke in the house. He went to investigate and found backroom of structure on fire. He and 4 other adults self evacuated. Firefighters were called and made an aggressive interior attack to extinguish fire. House sustained heavy smoke and fire damage. A dog escaped fire.

  1. I would like to say thanks to the fire fighters, but I would like to say I wish the news reporter had facts straight because the report is not accurate. To the two angels that stopped by my home that morning and woke us up thank you you guys saved our lives. Thank you and god bless I wish I could thank you two in person.
