* PORTIONS OF NORTHERN INDIANA AND NORTHWEST OHIO…INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS…IN NORTHERN INDIANA…ADAMS…ALLEN IN…BLACKFORD…CASS IN…DE KALB…FULTON IN…GRANT… HUNTINGTON…JAY…KOSCIUSKO…MARSHALL…MIAMI…NOBLE…PULASKI…STARKE…WABASH…WELLS…WHITE AND WHITLEY. IN NORTHWEST OHIO…ALLEN OH…DEFIANCE…FULTON OH…HENRY…PAULDING…PUTNAM…VAN WERT AND WILLIAMS.

* FROM 6 PM EST /5 PM CST/ THIS EVENING THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON

* PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE A TOTAL OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN BY MONDAY NIGHT. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS MAY BE POSSIBLE.

* THIS HEAVY RAINFALL MAY RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING OF LOW LYING OR POOR DRAINAGE AREAS…AND SMALLER CREEKS AND STREAMS. SIGNIFICANT RISES ON LARGER STREAMS AND RIVERS ARE EXPECTED.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
