News release from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum:
Memorial Coliseum to Unveil Conference Center on Friday, December 18th
(December 7, 2015) – The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum invites the community to see the new Conference Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on Friday, December 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 4:00 p.m.
After over a year of construction, the project will be completed ahead of schedule, for its first public event, the Winter Bridal Spectacular on January 2 & 3. The Conference Center consists of more than 50,000 square feet, including approximately 28,000 square feet of new multi-purpose event space and expanded pre-function and service areas.
The addition of the Conference Center gives the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum more than 1 million square feet under roof, making it the second largest public assembly facility in Indiana, just behind Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
