Down the Line celebrates 10th anniversary in 2016

(November 18, 2015) – The very popular Down the Line concert will celebrate 10 years of local bands performing on the Embassy stage on Feb 26 & 27, 2016. Tickets go on sale Nov. 20 for Down the Line 10: Anniversary and are $20 for VIP (advance seating), $15 for general admission and $25 for a two day pass. Tickets can be purchased through ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone 800.745.3000 and at the Embassy box office.

Down the Line began in 2007 and has featured 68 local bands in the past nine years. The bands have covered artists such as Johnny Cash, Van Halen, Billy Joel, Miranda Lambert, Black Sabbath and many more. Down the Line expanded in 2012 by adding, Down the Country Line and Down the Line: Hard Chord. In 2015, the Embassy combined all the popular elements of each concert into a two-day music festival. Down the Line 10: Anniversary will again be a two-day music festival with 10 local bands covering 10 legendary artists. Specific bands and their covers will be announced at a later date.

Down the Line 10: Anniversary is sponsored by Sweetwater Sound with additional support from Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency; and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
