Three Award Winners from Artlink’s 10th Annual Regional to Host Exhibition
(November 17, 2015) – Last fall, Artlink hosted its 10th Annual Regional Exhibition, which is a juried exhibition showcasing the best artwork in all mediums from around the region. Over 180 pieces were submitted to the show, and Artlink’s Artist Panel juried in 80 pieces. Tim Parsley, professor at University of Saint Francis, was the award selector and selected three artists to receive $500 each and the chance to be part of a three-person exhibition at Artlink in 2015. Award winners are Jeremy Stroup, Trevor Rush, and John Myers.
Stroup, Rush, and Myers will display their work in the upcoming Regional Award Winners Exhibition, which opens Friday, December 11, from 6-9 p.m. in the Main Galleries at Artlink. The public is invited to attend the opening reception. There will be an Artists’ Talk at 6:45 p.m. with the three participating artists talking about their work and answering questions from guests. In addition to the Regional Award Winners Exhibition, Artlink will host prints by artist member Angela Ellsworth in the Betty Fishman Gallery, and artwork by students from the Art Club Outreach program and Memorial Park Middle School in the Freistroffer Gallery. All exhibitions run through January 13, 2016.
