Road Repairs to Close Remaining Eastbound lane of I-469 Lane Overnight Sunday, October 4
Drivers will be re-routed off I-469 between exit 6/S.R. 1 and exit 13/Marion Center Road
ALLEN COUNTY (October 2, 2015) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that road repairs will close the remaining eastbound lane of I-469 between exit 6/S.R. 1 and exit 13/Marion Center Rd. at 11 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4. Work will occur overnight and is expected to be completed by 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5. The current westbound lane will remain open throughout the work.
Motorists will be alerted of the closure using multiple portable message signs at various locations to direct drivers to an alternate route. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and seek an alternate route during the work.
Work in the current eastbound lane is part of a $24.4 million pavement replacement project on I-469 between mile marker 6 and 15. The two-construction season project was awarded to Primco.
