News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, 3514 Avondale Drive
(September 1, 2015) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported house fire at 3514 Avondale Drive. The first unit on the scene found heavy fire through out the home.
Crews did an aggressive interior attack and searched the structure for any occupants none were found. One occupant had left the home before the Fire Department’s arrived. She was treated at the scene by TRAA and released.
Red Cross was called to assist the home owners. The fire department was assisted by Fort Wayne Police Department, AEP, NIPSCO and Neighborhood code.
